About Exquisite Butterflies
Our Philosophy
At Exquisite Butterflies, we combined natural elements to create beautiful pieces of art using natural butterflies, moths, beetles, mantids, etc with crystals, moss, brass, and sometimes mysterious or mystical objects. Our insects are mounted Japanese Style to give them a "second life". This 3-Dimensional, life-like mounting allows for a 360 degree view of the insect and allows for a greater appreciation of how the insect would look when it was alive.
Our Sourcing
Our insects are sourced from sustainable farms (Butterflies and Moths) and private breeders (Beetles and Mantises), our crystals are made in-house and our glass containers are sourced from Japan. Mysterious and mystical objects in our artwork come from various sources including antique shops and flea markets in the US and Japan.
Our Guarantee
We guarantee that your artwork from us will be free of pests and will be preserved for many decades or even centuries to come. If you recieved a piece of art that is damaged in transit, we will repair it for you for free. If your artwork becomes damaged even years later, we will still repair it at no cost to you besides shipping.
